<p>Well, if you're a girl like myself, you'll most likely have to look beyond campus. Everyone knows about the severely disproportionate ratio of women to men, and that there are quite a few gay guys at NYU. I don't go to NYU(but am from NYC and am hoping to!), but my friendfrom Jersey who does says many of the straight guys there are already taken. I actually read that somewhere else too, so maybe it's true?</p>
<p>Im a straight, single, freshman NYU male. Way to be attentive. Girls who ***** about having to look "beyond campus" are kidding themselves. There are PLENTY OF US on campus. I wrote made this thread with the intention of making it known that straight guys have it just as bad, if not worse than straight females here.</p>

<li>Take down number, ask if you can call her on the weekend</li>
<li>when the weekend arrives, get a buddy, call the girl, ask her if she wants to hang out, tell her to bring a friend for your buddy </li>
<li>Meet the girl(s)</li>
<li>Take a cab to a nice club/restaurant/bar w.e.</li>
<li>Buy drinks</li>
<li>Ask how school is going</li>
<li>party</li>
<li>Take atleast one female back to your dorm.</li>

<p>Well for me, the whole thing just crumpled for me today.. long story. don't wanna talk about it. kinda hurts. I'm gonna put this stuff off for awhile cause they are damn distracting. But there're many girls in NYU, so don't give up hope</p>
<p>It's really hard to find females in situations where you can randomly take down their numbers. Just saying.</p>
<p>Or you could just send one of those girls to Hayden #1016 if you really wanted to help a friend out...just saying.</p>
