Dear students,
Hi, I am an international student and I really- really want to attend Brandeis! I have many things I love about it, but I dont know which to write about it my short response. Could You help?
Internet is slow and I wasnt able to see the video of the place, so I downloaded this nifty description of the campus and dove into it. They have quidditch practice. I have been fan of Harry Potter for ten years, of which first 3 I kept on believing I will receive The Letter. In fact, Harry Potter just might be the reason I started learning English when I would go to Hogwarts I would need to speak somehow, right? That was the logic at 8.
Recently, I became a huge fan of the Friends series. And can you imagine my surprise when I discovered that the creators of this funniest ever story are the alums of Brandeis!!! Furthermore, the idea of Central Perk café and friends gathering there had apparently sprang up from this Chums café IN BRANDEIS!
I also like a unique Harry Potter-like housing in a castle, a huge library, student services, a program called Lunch with the Professor that enables a student to talk to his/ her teacher one on one, a sport complex, that everybody can use, not just the varsity as it happens at big universities, You name it! There is even a full scholarship! It even covers 1 time round tickets every year to go home! My mom loves this university too now that I gushed her about this.
I want to major in linguistics, so I was excited to find out that one of You guys is also majoring in Linguistics! Could you tell me what classes you take and what do you usually do in them?

I am excited about the new Korean language program that launched at Brandeis. I would love to personally thank Brandeis Korean Course and Language Initiative and Sung-Chul Hong, who teaches the course according to the article by Sejun Lee '16Oct. 28, 2013. Also, I shout out for the prosperity of this course and hope it will still offer the beginning course for freshmen as well as the advanced course. Please send my words to the pioneer courses fathers if you can!
