<p>I think you have pretty nice stats. Your rank and GPA however might hurt you a bit. If you really want to go here, definitely apply early decision. It will help you out A LOT! </p>

<p>I do not know how respected your HS is but your courseload is looking good so far. Make sure you do well your first semester of senior year when they send the mid-year report. </p>

<p>I think you are in at HSS (though this year CMU saw an overall increase of 20%). I will need to examine the selectivy of HSS this year in order to tell you whether you are truly in or not. At the LEAST, it will be a match for you. At the best, it'll be a match-safety. </p>

<p>SCS will be a reach for you if you apply Regular. An Early Decision application will probably help you a lot though it will still be a reach for you. I do not know your math grades or breakdown of SAT math/verbal/writing.</p>

<p>Given the information I have and taking into account the selectivy of CMU this year, I would say SCS is a reach and HSS a match.</p>
