Lately I've been paranoid that my admission is going to be rescinded. My first semester, I received a 62 in Creative Writing. It was a semester-long elective. My mid-year grades were sent out in February. One school I applied to received them on Feb. 13th, another received them on the 14th. My acceptance letter is dated February 17th. Since mid-year grades were sent out after the application deadline and so close to the date I
received my letter, I'm worried they didn't even see the mid-year report and, when it's time to send my final grades in June, they'll see it and rescind my admission. I'm worried because the college places a huge emphasis on writing, and this was a writing course. I do have a B in AP English Literature, and this isn't the only D on my high school transcript - there are a few, as well as two F's, so I got into the school with some bad grades, but I'm worried about this one because of the nature of the class. So, do you think the college would have looked at my mid-year grades in such a short period of time? Or will I be rescinded?
