D in AP Calculus, trying to apply to a Cal state?

I'm a junior in high school, taking 4 APs and Journalism and Spanish. My grades for first semester were generally Bs, As, and 2 Cs and 1 D in AP Calculus. I'm not shooting for any top schools such as any of the UCs but I want to get into Cal States. I'm going to be taking AP Stats next year for math, which would fullfill my a-g requirement of 3 years of math. If I don't retake AP Calculus for the first semester, would I still be able to get in to a Cal State?

If you took precalculus and got a C or higher, you have completed the math portion of the UC/CSU a-g subject requirements, based on the validation policy. If you get a C or higher in calculus second semester, it will validate the first semester that you got a D in.

However, the D grade will still be included in your UC/CSU GPA, and will not be given a +1 honors point which is only given for C or higher grades in AP or honors courses.

Oh ok, thank you!
