So I got a D in Calculus BC. Tell me if it is guaranteed that my admission will be revoked. I sent an email to UCSD Admissions and they did not give me a complete answer. The full message is as follows:

All students must follow the conditions as outlined in their Contract
for Provisional Admission.
Two of provisions of the contract are that a student must receive a "C"
or better in all college preparatory "A - G" courses senior year and
receive a 3.0. Not meeting these provisions can be a cause for
admissions cancellation in the summer. We are unable to make any
decisions regarding your status until all transcripts are received in
the summer. If you have further questions, please contact our office at
858-534-4831.

Best Regards,

They seemed as if they were unsure if this results in my admission being revoked. I am taking five AP classes this semester including Physics B AP and have not dropped Calculus. I got a 3.0 weighted last semester. And for this semester, it is pretty much guaranteed that I will get a D in Calculus again. GPA is likely to 3.0 weighted again.

And also, I wonder if I submit my statement of intent to UCSD and my admission does get revoked, does that mean I cannot go to another UC?

Have you tried talking to your teacher? Unless you aren't putting any effort into the class, then I'm sure your teacher wouldn't mind giving you a C for the semester.

OR drop the class NOW NOW NOW if you knwo you won't work for it even if you beg your teacher and your teacher gives you another chance.

better a "W" than being rejected.

and a W is OK!!! because calculus is overfulfilling your math requirements, you do'nt need it to be eligible to attend UC. admission office does NOT count a W towards whether you'll be able to attend SD or not!!!

Say if I cannot beg my teacher for a C. And also I cannot get a withdrawal. Then what happens? Should I submit my SIR somewhere else like UCSB, my second choice? UCSB Admissions said it is OK if I get one D per semester.

ask your assistant principal or your principal. i'm SURE they'll try to help you as much as they can. if you ask them for permission to withdraw, they'll do that for you. ummmm. if that can't happen i guess it's UCSB :/ i'd contact SD admins first to see what they say though. just checking to make sure that really NOTHING can be done
