I know she is nervous, any advice on what to expect?

i have done one interview already. it wasnt at georgetown but i think they are all really similar.
JUST BE YOURSELF!...or herself i guess
they will just ask you questions about things you like to do and stuff...try and be welcoming and open when you talk. try not to stumble over your words...think before you talk. dont let the conversation lag or become awkward
i was also told that it is good to ask questions to the alum about their experience...what they are interested and that sort of stuff. make it a two sided conversation. it shouldnt just be the prospective student getting grilled from question to question.
everyone will be more comfortable if it is more like a conversation coming...imput coming from both side

hope that helps

Most of my Georgetown interview was spent telling me about the school. I'm pretty sure as long as you don't come off completely insane, it's not going to make a big difference.

Is this a stupid question - What'd you wear? How formal/professional do you think she should dress?

It really depends where the interview is held (my was at my interviewer's office, so I went business formal), but if it's not in an office environment, business casual (biz cas) is perfectly fine. For a girl, I would recommend a dress shirt and pants (no jeans).

So should expect to talk about why she wants to go to Georgetown and what she wants to study here. It's perfectly fine if she's undecided, but if she can just talk a bit about what her interests are and the conversation can flow from there. Also depends on what school she's applying to, I applied to the business school and my interviewer graduated from the MSB, I think Gtown does its best to pair up the student with the interviewer that graduated from the school the student is applying to.

Just be engaging and ask A LOT of questions - doesn't have to be about academics - really anything from Georgetown basketball to favorite restaurant on M Street.
