i am freaking out right now, im a senior and ive just been accepted into UCR (which i am thrilled about) but i got a D first semester in Spanish 2 (this year!) i don't know what to do, the web site says to report it by emailing the ad min counselors with our student ID # and our name but i'm afraid that if i do that they will just automatically retract my application! please anybody help!!!! what should i do!!

If you don’t notify them, they will find out eventually as all UCs require you to send your final transcripts if you choose to enroll… at that point your odds of getting rescinded would be even higher.

If you don’t notify them, they will eventually review your transcripts, see the D and then revoke your admission. I wouldn’t suggest doing this.

Sorry to tell you this but even if you do email them, there is a pretty big chance that they’ll revoke your admission. If I remember correctly, the A-G requirements state that you must have two years of the same foreign language with a C or better. Your best bet is to email them and explain your situation/why you got a D and if it’s possible to make it up at a community college. Good luck!

I have to agree with the above^ most UCs state that if the A-G requirements are not met you cannot be admitted.
