<p>I remember this happening with older D, as well -- a really nice phone call from the admissions counselor, telling her she is in . . . and with a Provost's scholarship. She is very happy -- it's her first acceptance.
I'm really pushing for her to fill out the Presidential application. We'll see.</p>

<p>Congrats to all those accepted. My DD and I just visited and she thought it was great. She cant figure out why she hasnt got her acceptance yet? She is thinking the GC might have something to do with it. UGH. Hopefully, it will come soon. Fingers crossed for the Presidential. Our tour guide was Honors, Med.Scholar, and Presidential scholarship! Great to talk to her. Such a great, engaging young woman. She said 1000 apply, then 500 invited to campus to interview. 25 picked to get the scholarship. Seems like lottery odds to me but worth a shot.</p>
