I’ve been dancing since I was 6. I discontinued professional dancing for a while, but started again in 10th grade/sophomore year. I learn Kathak, a classical Indian dance form. How should I showcase this on my application. In in junior year RN, so I can actually do more. Pls help

This is pretty straightforward. In the “activities” portion of your Common App you’ll list something like this:

  1. X Club, 9-11, 12 (president)
  2. Y Sport 10
  3. Classical Indian dance 10-12
  4. Literary magazine 11 (editor)

It’s up to you what order you place it – place the most significant activities (according to you), first. You do NOT have to fill all ten slots.

In the short essay, you can showcase whatever you like. If Kathak is important to you, then write about that. Otherwise, it just gets listed as an EC as T26E4 suggested.
