I'm planning on auditioning in February at the Los Angelos Unified Auditions. I'm a little worried about the dance auditions because my strongest assessts are my voice and acting, but I've only been taking dance for the past few months. Does anyone have any comments or thoughts about my situation and if I still have a chance of getting into the school?

Point Park in particular is known as a strong dance school. However, all schools are looking for a good mix of talent -- they need strong singers and actors as well as dancers. If you can, take some extra dance lessons before the auditions -- private lessons are especially valuable. It won't make you competitive with students who have had years of dance, but it will give you some additional polish and confidence.
