What time is D announcing - confirm please!
Emails said 12/13 (tomorrow, Thursday) at 4:00 PM ET via Dartmouth’s application management system (i.e., portal)
I’m going to be way too scared to open my letter lolllll
Did you guys see that some OP added a post to the 2022 Dartmouth thread and uploaded an “accepted” – odd…
@screamingkettle @whattheheck123 Good luck to you as well, many thanks for all the support and question-answering!
Best of luck to everyone, do some self care this evening and get a good night’s sleep.
@Hopper2019 Where are you seeing this?
Oh, never mind, I found it. For anyone else:

That is weird, though. It could be athletic acceptance, but it’s not mentioned in the post…?
@AudreyKang – It’s on the “Dartmouth Class of 2022 RD Results” thread: http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/dartmouth-college/2067109-dartmouth-class-of-2022-rd-results.html#latest
They might have been accepted last year and just posted it. There’s no way they’d know if they applied this year, and they didn’t list sports in their extracurriculars.
@guyfierifan – Your hypothesis makes sense.
Just got an email from the department of education saying that a error on my FAFSA was corrected by "my school. Anyone else?
@AdaCzyka – Wow!
yeah I agree with @guyfierifan They probably just wanted to share their info from last year.
Is anyone nervous asf everytime they think about the results tomorrow
If you go into your Common App under Dartmouth and click on “Recommenders and FERPA” – do you guys show your Parent ED form as having been “submitted” or “downloaded”? There is some talk about this on the Duke thread (i.e., that if it has been marked as downloaded, that is better than submitted)…
I just can’t think about what all the little buttons mean anymore, I’m gonna chill out until tomorrow at 3:59, Good luck de-stressing everyone!
Mine just says submitted, but everything else says downloaded… what does yours say?
I believe it is the same for our D. But he got nervous based on the Duke thread… hopefully everyone just has “submitted”
@Hopper2019 My daughter is now a senior at Dartmouth, and her college counselor absolutely knew in advance. There were two kids from her class who applied. The admissions officer called the college counselor to give him a heads up that one would be deferred and my daughter would be accepted. He did not indicate the decision to us in any way.
@Slowrises – Thanks for the info. Really appreciate it. And congrats on your Daughter’s admittance to Dartmouth. II hope she has enjoyed her time in Hanover!
