<p>no it isnt a problem... we had two people accepted from my school last year and there were only about 100 in the class (so 2% were accepted)... and i still got in this year...
I was really worried about this too since no one had been accepted from my school before and then all of a sudden we have two people in the same year... it doesn't seem to change their decision though</p>
<p>I was also worried last December, when a boy from my high school got in under ED. Since I'm international, I thought there was no hope to be admitted since it was very rare for the college to accept two students from the same school, especially when both of them were asking full aid.</p>
<p>4 people got in last year early from my school out of a grade of 250.</p>
<p>last year 2 out of 85 kids from my school went...one ED one RD..we always have someone getting in, just that the person rarely actually goes..for example, two years ago a kid turned dartmouth down for UVA honors.</p>
<p>every time someone says LA, I naturally think of Louisiana considering that's where I'm located! Anyways, I was thinking to myself...there are basically no schools left in south central LA...</p>
