I was browsing the Yale board and I saw a list that had the number of applications from each state. Does anyone have something like this for Dartmouth?

I don't think they publish this.

From the news release at http://www.dartmouth.edu/~news/releases/2008/03/31.html

Admittees come from across the nation as well as around the world: 324 from New England; 615 from the Mid-Atlantic; 216 from the Midwest; 368 from the South; and 441 from the West, with the remainder having a non-U.S. address.

Also, I just went in to the roster for admitted students and got the breakdown for who has registered on the site. It's imperfect because it doesn't list every student, but assuming proportional representation and with such a large pool I think it can give you a pretty good idea about who got in from where.

Wait, so where is that list from? This site?

The Class of 2012 page has a roster where interested admitted students may sign up and post some limited contact information. They were required to list the state (or region) where they were from in the listing. I painstakingly opened the roster, checked each page, counted the number of students, and then copied it to this page.

So... it's not an official list by any means. But if you want a general idea of where matriculating students currently live, it may be the best source out there.

Wow... thanks for the effort! ;)

Sure :) Nah, it really only took about 10 minutes ;D

I know Louisiana had at least two, unfortunately I was waitlisted here though :-/
