About half of applicants interview. Again, you’re at no disadvantage if you do not get one.

hi guys! i also applied ED to dartmouth! i interviewed november 15th and it went well, but i really dont think it increased my chances at all. my mom’s friend interviews people for Dartmouth and she says that the alumni interviews are really just a way to keep the alumni involved so they keep donating money, so i guess it could only hurt you if u interviewed and it went horribly wrong. other than that, i really dont think its a disadvantage if you dont!!

did anyone receive an email saying when decisions come out? i check my inbox every 5 minutes hoping for it!

In the past, does anyone know how Dartmouth announces the release date? on the website? through and email? D’s application management system?

Come on, Dartmouth! We’re all dying to know! Just tell us the date!!

@bsalum we’ll get an email stating what day/time we can check the application manager for results. I went back to 2006 to see all the days it was released, and going off of those statistics it’ll be between the 9th and 11th. (They’ve only released results on Tues/Wed/Thurs for the past eight years)

Thanks!

@AllyZieMage any estimate on when we’ll receive that email?

Honestly, I thought it’d be today since last year they were notified the friday before (and it was released on Wednesday the 11th)

They’ve sent out the notification date announcement email on a weekend before

I got my interview a few weeks ago and it was with two alums. They both live here and from the same class at Dartmouth. It was really comfortable. And they only asked me three or four questions but the interview was about 50mins. They actually knew nothing about me besides I am doing ED, because they didn’t realize I’m a foreigner who is currently studying in the States until I introduced myself. I don’t really think I have a chance to get into Dartmouth since my SAT is PRETTY LOW, and I just assumed they rejected me so I won’t be too disappointed.

I think they will post the notification date info first on the “check application system” and then send the email to notify you. This is what I heard from a current student in Dartmouth. @jamie13227

Any updates anyone?

nope

Staring at my mailbox n praying (

I think this is the worst wait ever. I need a time machine. The TARDIS would be brilliant.

I am beyond nervous AHHH

Out of curiosity, why did you guys choose Dartmouth?

@sambo182 I went on a recruiting trip for swimming and loved the school. Really hoping to be a 19

@sambo182 D-Plan and the alum’s loyalty.I love how Dartmouth alum described their love to dartmouth.

The community is really unique, and I love how everyone is very nice and collaborative. Also, the D-Plan is cool.
