Anyone receive regular decision likely letters yet?
My financial aid portal changed the other day; it now says that a bunch of different forms and documents were received on March 5, even though I submitted the rest of them in January. Is this a good thing or a bad thing??
@college166177 neither lol and you should probably know that
@college166177 Even if you submitted it in January, sometimes it just takes that long to be processed
@college166177 the same thing happened to me, all my financial docs are wicked specific, all of this changed on 3/1/17…it prolly dsnt mean anything but this hasnt happened to my friend (who also submitted fa info in january)…
my hopkins portal also did the same thing on 2/22/17…does anyone else want to check to see if this is a common thing?
@college166177 Yeah my portal shows the same dates
@ezbreezy8022 @mdchang99 okay, so maybe there’s a pattern if it hasn’t changed for everyone? If anyone else checks their financial aid section, let us know if there’s a change or not!!
No changes for me
Nothing has changed for me in the portal… it still says everything was received back in December when I submitted it all.
My financial aid portal dates changed to 2/20 when everything was submitted in January. Dartmouth asked me for additional information, and an additional box has appear for me and was processed on 2/27.
Please do not over analyze this. The only thing it means is that some of you did not submit all of the required documentation the first time or in reviewing your financial documentation there was something that raised a flag and required clarification
Do regional admissions counselors review their region’s applications? My UChicago rep said that she would be one of the people to look at my application, but I don’t know if it’s the same everywhere. I spoke pretty in depth with my regional counselor when my school hosted a Dartmouth visit, but I don’t know if she’ll even see my app.
I think the regional counselors do read their region’s applications, but I also think every app is read by two people, so there is also another counselor that reads each of them. That’s what I remember hearing from our Dartmouth rep at an information session in our region.
Any likely letter recipients yet? Just wondering…
Did anybody receive a likely letter from Dartmouth at all this year?
Hey everyone! I’m new to this discussion thread and I was wondering if any of you knew what date decisions would be received (by mail or portal)? Also, how much would a LOR written by a Dartmouth grad student help?
They should be available through the applicant portal on March 31, at 5:00 PM EST @charcoalatey2021
Isn’t Ivy Day the 30th this year?
It could be, I’ve just heard that it would be 3/31
@maryelzz Ye dude, Brown said it was releasing decisions on the 30th. Either way, its like a day tho.
