Longest short wait ever!

^ I’ll mess up the format

Didn’t apply for FA so no indication for me =(

^Complains about being wealthy

^ class warfare!

^ I lol’d.

I’m feeling pretty down right now. Financial aid docs except css/fafsa say “Received, review in progress”. Prolly gonna get axed by Dartmouth.

Stats:
SAT:2150
GPA: 3.7ish
Recs: awesome. Best part of app, HANDS DOWN.
Class rank: unranked, probably low cause there’s so many high achieving Asians in my school
Essays: awesome concept, but not that good because of a few grammatical errors
Interview: Great.
Hooks: None
Anti-Hook: I am yellower than lemonade.

ah well, at least I <3<3<3 my safety/lowmatch

jello, from what you’ve said, you have a competitive application. that’s all we can really hope for at schools like D. let’s all just hang in together until thursday - then we’ll know.

Your chances of getting in are about average.

i had my interview with a psychologist, so i felt like i was being analysed the whole time…which did not calm my nerves at all

^ oh lord, that sounds like a nightmare, hahaha.

My interview was with a very sweet man from San Francisco. I don’t remember what he did for a living, but it was probably one of my best interviews. I think he was really impressed with me, and he told me I’d be a great fit for Dartmouth. :3

yea, and it was my first interview too so i was really nervous. and i kept forgetting what i wanted to say. i’m so glad that its over. he said that i have high potentials, but he probably just said that to make me feel better

aw, don’t overthink it! I’m sure it was fine. :)

Only two days until we find out… eep!

Dartmouth didn’t bother with an Interview for me
Either they already found out that I was no good… Or they were miraculously brain washed into believing that I am AWESOME.
[Though it might have just been the lack of active alumni in India]

^ Probably your third option, lol.

My interview sucked. lol.

I never got one. T_T

I never got one for Columbia, which was my dream school in seventh grade (I just wanted to go to school in Manhattan at the time and didn’t know anything about the school, lol). A little bit sad, for sentimental reasons, but whatever.

T-minus 42 hours, but who’s counting?

I didn’t get one for Columbia either. Come to think of it, I only got interviews for 3/15 schools. O_o

I did something like 9 interviews. The first ones weren’t fun, but I got the hang of it after my god-awful Princeton one.

I was actually contacted by an alumnus who was assigned to interview me for one of my schools (not Dartmouth). I emailed him back two or three times over the course of several weeks. No response. (I didn’t get in either D: )

My Dartmouth interview went pretty well, and I managed to interview for 5/12 schools.
