Dartmouth Early Decision Class of 2021

@ihopeigetin1152 Standardized test scores aren’t everything unfortunately. Work on your extracurriculars etc. and make sure the admissions reps know about them and hope for an acceptance in the RD round

If you get in, is there a way to see who your classmates will be?

They started a facebook page but idk what else @CCswami

deferred! does anyone know what the acceptance rate/ chances are for deferred students? is it higher/ lower etc.?

Their website says around 5-10% so probably slightly lower than the regular decision acceptance rate

Deferred

I’m so late but accepted!!

@jkennyy Take the SAT or ACT now. I got in ED with a 2170 SAT. I thought that this score would get me deferred so I spent five days studying for the writing section which was a 700 previously and raised it to an 800. I do not know wether I got in with the 2170 or the 2270, but either way, having a higher score helps. I would suggest that you try raising your ACT score to the 30+ range. Also try the SAT, maybe that could be easier for you. That being said, I hope you get in. Darty is great!

I’m Just astonished I got in with a 1340 no Subject tests and no AP tests. Guess it really is holistic.

I AM SO SO LATE, BUT ACCEPTED AS WELL!!! YAY! Thanks God, I can’t believe it!

Congrats to all of you who were accepted, deferred, and denied as well. For me, these months have been so crazy and special at the same time. I’m sure that we all have an amazing future right before us, no mater where we end up going to!
Thanks for all your help! Blessings
