If they’re following the trends of the other Ivies we have less than two weeks until decisions!
Merry Christmas 1st!
I’m quite confident it’ll come out next week, all the other Ivies are.
It’s driving me insane. Can’t wait.
I don’t want to bum anyone out… but I think my interviewer might have mentioned that decisions could be a little later due to test score delays. But maybe not because if all the other schools seem to be on time I would think they could too.
thats strange bc all the other ivys are releasing them next week anyways…? I didn’t get to take the October ACT until the weekend after the November subject tests because we kept having flash flooding in my town. just got my scores back last wed but I guess it really doesn’t matter because I ended up with the same score smh
@sunimah @UnivClassOf2020 I submitted my CSS profile a long time ago and mine showed up as 11/23 as well. I think collegeboard has been having issues.
Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all and best of luck to all of us! I’m super excited and super terrified. I have no idea when we will know or anything.
Also, I have “additional materials” that I didn’t submit. Does anyone know what that is about? At the time I had not had my interview and I think the materials were on there before I even arranged it fully. I’m very confused.
@coolestnerdever A lot of people are talking about the additional materials. It’s probably your first quarter grades or latest test scores. I wouldn’t worry about it.
Hi Eveyone,
I’m an international student and just got contacted for an interview. The alums in my country aren’t close to my region so I thought I wouldn’t be contacted and had just accepted it. I got quite shocked to get contacted so late. I would assume that my interview won’t have an impact on my decision. What would you make of this situation?
PS: Don’t get me wrong, I’m super pumped up about having an interview and getting to talk about Dartmouth with an Alumni.
Good luck to all
Does anyone know how our decisions are reported? Like will Dartmouth send us all an email to say that decisions are out? Also whenever I log onto my Application System thingy I dont see any place for where the result would show. Hopefully we all find out soon and everyone gets in!! Thanks!
Not sure, but I think you’ll receive both an e-mail and a notification on the App Portal. The Welcome Package will probably come in the mail later, if there is one
@T1E2C3, it might not carry as much weight, but any additional detail they receive could help them!
Did Dartmouth ask for anyone’s first quarter grades?
@gearsstudio as far as I know, they didn’t ask me. How would we have been contacted for this?
@skiergirl5098 They probably would have emailed your guidance counselor.
My GC hasn’t said anything of the sort to me. Hmm.
I’m almost positive they don’t request them. However, if you’re doing well / want to show a continued upward tend, then I would suggest sending them
Hey guys, so I just got second place in a business competition today. Do you think it’s worth adding to my application at this point or is it too late?
Dartmouth, in recent years, has released application decisions on the Wednesdays-Fridays just before Dec 15.
Being that the likely Decision Day is only a week away, it is most likely they have already looked over your application.
Uploading an update, however, takes no effort. If you want, I guess you could still make a change on your online application if you want to do so.
