Dartmouth ED

Dartmouth is hands down my dream school. I plan on applying ED this fall, but am a little concerned about my chances of getting in. I attend a boarding school in New England that is very rigorous, does not do class rank, and does not weight GPAs. Over the four years the rigor of my classes has gone up, and this year I took all honors classes and APs. I am a caucasian female and will not be applying for financial aid.

Academic Stats:
GPA: 3.84 uw
SAT: 1420 (I scored a 760 on english and am retaking to hopefully get a higher math score)
AP: AB Calculus (4) US History (4) English Language (4) (I will be taking 5 APS for my senior year)
Subject Tests: Took three all in the high 600s, which I know is too low so I am retaking them in September

Extra Curriculars:
-Captain of Varsity Field Hockey, four years of varsity and Eastern Independent League Honorable mention
-Captain of Varsity Lacrosse, varsity three years Jv one
-Senior year Prefect (a coveted boarding school position similar to a college RA)
-President and founder of the Mock Trial club
-Peer tutor 3 years
-Red Key tour guide 3 years
-Investment Club 3 years
-Student Council Secretary for senior year
-Studied Spanish for three weeks in Spain and received 6 college credits (A+ in entire course)
-Service trip to Lourdes, France assisting disabled pilgrims making the pilgrimage
-Studied art history in Rome for two weeks through my school
-Received a competitive fellowship grant to travel to Kathmandu, Nepal for three weeks empowering women and teaching them English
-Volunteer at local abused women shelter, 6 years
-Volunteer at local animal shelter, 8 years
-Member of Save the Bay organization
-Received the award for Excellence in Christian Doctrine
-Summer Job as a camp counsellor and babysitter

Hi!

What is your approximate class rank? Your GPA isn’t bad if you are in the top 10% of your class. The standardized test scores could be better so spend some time preparing for those. Dartmouth accepted me in the regular round with a 2300, 800 on the Math 2 subject test and a 670 on the Literature subject test. No hooks. So get those scores up as much as you can, but they won’t reject your application because of your scores if you get them up to a 1480 and 700s+ on subject tests.

Your ECs are really good! You definitely show leadership across a wide variety of fields. What do you intend to study? Selective schools want to see someone who has a passion or interest in one or two academic areas. I suggest focusing your EC list around a certain trait or skill you want to exhibit when doing your Common Application.

If you don’t mind me asking, do you attend a boarding school such as Exeter, Andover, Choate, Deerfield, or Kent?

Red key tour guide likely means that OP goes to a school with red as their primary color. Exeter?
