Dartmouth...good in the biology/pre-med tack?

How is dartmouth when it comes to a biology major and pre-med track? are there opportunities available for hospital volunteer, research, etc? How many students in dartmouth who apply to med school get in? thanks!

Get Schimler's "Reaching the Ivory Tower." It will explain why you don't need to be a biology major for a pre-med track and also explains matriculation. Has matriculation data on entry into various med schools. Dartmouth is very competitive in this area.

Dartmouth-hitchcock is tiny but nonetheless a good hospital I heard. Their med school is extremely small.

Dartmouth is probably one of the schools in the country though if you want to do an undergrad then go to med school. It just seems like a great place to study hard, earn great grades, and get volunteer/work experience.

how is the med school at dartmouth?

Which one should be preferred: Dartmouth Pre-Med or Boston University 7Yr Accelerated Medical?

^the 7 year tracks at Rice, Brown, and Bu are overrated and less than an enjoyable college experience.
