Let me know when you receive your percentages
Thanks, that’s nice. :D

Benvenuto Penny95 ;)

@Sunny
Will do :)

Err guys , my best friend knows me for 6 months

The only thing I can say in Italian is: me catzo es troppo grande por me slip

@Quiver
I don’t think length of time is too important - as long as you guys know each other well enough. I know people who have known me for much much longer and are still friends… but they don’t know me as well as the friend who wrote my eval, and so I didn’t feel like they could provide a decent evaluation of me (well not as true, or highlight the sorts of qualities I think should be). Should be fine.

@PO
Welcome back online! haha! nice yea, I’m not particularly good at italian - french helps a little here and there though

Yeah, took a little hiatus to work on my FIFA skills! :P

@PO
NICE! The next Messi, Henri, Beckham, [place famous 1st class footballer here that you like a lot and respect] :P

@MRU93Raith @Sunny thanks Even if my chances of getting into dartmouth are really low and @PO hahahah you probably shouldn’t say that lol ;)

@Penny
Very welcome
Funny thing is that from the people who have posted here, only one has been accepted, the rest of the people who have posted a few of their stats also don’t seem to have really high chances.
But we all have some chance :P

Aw bloody highly selective colleges Yeah I dunno I think that my chances are ruined because of my grades during the 2 and 3 year , they were like 7/10 which is average but nothing great
What do you want to study anyway ?

I could be wrong, but as long as you do better this year (where you get better at school, not worse) you haven’t ruined your chances. I know a few people who retook exams, didn’t do brilliantly on other exams and still got accepted into a few of the Ivy league unis. So stay positive! :)

I’m planning on studying engineering - hopefully with a focus on sustainability and green technology. I might try pair it with a math or physics major if they allow me to, as it will reinforce my primary major. :)

haha I’m on career mode with my favourite team West Ham. Signed Beckham for £125,000 on a wage of £20,000 a week. WHAT A BARGAIN.

@PO
The way games screw our perceptions on life… 20k quid a week… a bargain!.. maybe for Beckham, but I could settle with that

Yea, not much of a FIFA guy myself… more RPGs and shoot em’ ups :D

@MRU that’s good to hear :D! And woow that sounds difficult I could never study engineering , I’m more of a social science girl I like physics thou :)

@Penny
I can’t do social sciences (well not be tested on them) - I actually really enjoy history and psychology… but I hate having to play by rules like with history I don’t really care much about who or the dates, pretty much only what happened and why (and the why can come into the psychology).

Engineering just works for me it is a lot of work, but you know if something is right, maybe not the best way to put it… but you always know it it is right! :D

HEEEYYYHEYYYHEYYYY!
Anyone miss me?
I see a couple of new people on here.

And a ton of posts between Raith and Sunny :p

What are we discussing right now? :P

@MRU I kinda feel the same towards behavioral psychology and ikr ! You really know when a subject’s good for you Unfortunately here in Italy I don’t have any chance to be a researcher -.-’ It’s really an awful country :P

@Penny
I will join you with my awful country Germany
I hope to meet you at Dartmouth and do some research together about the brain and stuff
Did you apply to other universities? (In the US or Italy)

@Blue (aka stranger… deserter… ghost) xP
Nah… we didn’t miss you haha! if you read back you’ll find I asked where you were
Yea a couple newbies, though I don’t remember when last you were on here… so I can’t even mention who in particular is new :P

What can I say Sunny and I are on here a lot… also Rishav has been very active here too.

Well you missed our short debate with “Dart” who was accepted ED to Dartmouth (I am under the impression he joined to comment on the thread).
Recently we have spoken about research project type things - Quiver was the only one who did anything substantial between Sunny, Rishav and myself.
Spoke about what is going on in people’s lives.
Penny (above, from Italy) just joined and we have started talking about or intended majors and what sort of subject groupings we are more inclined to do
PO mentioned his FIFA career… apparently he bought Beckham for a bargain… a bargain that I would be very happy to be paid mind you!
Turns out almost every active member here need financial aid of some sort… Sunny needs quite a bit, and was almost accepted to another university (it seemed that way to me) but was declined until her financial status changed - which is a shame

I think that is pretty much what has been going on :P

You been prep-ing for your board exams right? How is that coming along?

@Penny and Sunny

I thought European countries had really good research opportunities?! I know that they have the best space agency (technically a collaborative I suppose). I get what you mean - like here in Mauritius the closest to what I’d like to do in terms of research is our radio telescope, which is kinda large, but not compared to many places around the world.
I don’t know if I should do engineering, but I enjoy 90% of what I believe it to be about :P

Go Greens!! :D
