<p>@geek96 - Well I didnt cause my school counsellor was like real slow. It took me like two months to have my teachers and counsellor complete the procedure.</p>
<p>Also I didnt have any clear favourites.</p>
<p>Honestly, seeing the crazy admission rate, I should have applied SCEA to Pton.</p>

<p>Anyway I didn’t apply EA/ED anywhere because my counselor wasn’t ready to do anything!! 
I would’ve applied to Northwestern ED though!! Just because I would’ve probably had the best chance there & also their engineering program is very strong & I kind of like the campus/life there(which goes for Dartmouth too!!) :)</p>

<p>Hi everyone ! I’m reaaaallly sorry for the late response! I’ve had four examinations already and 6 remain! As you can tell, I’ve been kind of preoccupied. I’ve written out a response here a couple of times, as well, but never got around to pressing POST.</p>
<p>I’ve just discovered that my school is unable to send in midyear reports right now. I cannot believe I’ll have to go through the annoying procedure of trying to post everything as soon as possible. Anyone else having similar issues? International mail costs a ton. I’ve actually had a very limited budget to apply to US colleges and surprisingly I thought I’d managed it!</p>

<p>Rishav - Ahahah same here. She means well but she doesnt know anything about admissions abroad. I wouldnt blame her cause no one has applied there.</p>

<p>And for the mid year report, you just need to take a scan and upload it in the account which your counselor/principal used for the school report!! Takes barely 2 minutes!! :)</p>

<p>@perazziman - Thank you!! I know! But UIUC is too costly and has no aid. I am doubtful that I’ll get a scholarship, and if I don’t - I won’t be going there for sure. Which is why - I have 2 useless acceptances in hand!! :p</p>

Also looking at the un-exhaustive list of freshman “James Scholar” students - It looks like almost “everyone” gets in!! :p</p>
