Ever heard of quantum entanglement? Well I kinda believe that everything is connected from the Big Bang (assuming it was a single event) and therefore every particle essentially originated from the same source and was the same piece of matter (simply put though not completely correct either). So the idea that everything is connected and that anything you put out can essentially effect your environment and everyone else’s.
The catch however is that over time, the probability “successful” entanglement diminishes and therefore the effects are so subtle and random that no one can really see or predict them. Think of how identical twins seem to grow apart from their possible previous psychic connection.
Now with ghosts… assuming a soul of sorts exists (even if only theoretically through the almost random electrical pulses in the brain), memories, thoughts, personality is saved in a form in matter, as the person dies and their body decomposes, their matter is being put into the earth/environment, and therefore under very rare but theoretically possible conditions/situations, a ghost may appear and even communicate.

There are theoretically 11 possible dimensions, which to my understanding may facilitate these sorts of phenomena.

But obviously this is all completely theoretical and is based on my understanding and extrapolation of certain theories…

@raith,hoping - I believe it is all in one’s mind. Ghosts, spirits, etc.
What happens after life? Nothing! your body cells die & you turn into dust. :p

But I still like to believe there are ghosts around, just for the thrill of it! Haha!!

@PO
Sounds great bro! Personally I don’t like Harvard but I have been negatively influenced by a couple people on that subject But I suppose congratulations on the very positive feed back from one of the top universities in the world! You must be pretty psyched?! :D

@Rishav
Well apparently, according to a philosophy class one of my friend’s has taken, everyone projects a portion of them self onto other people as the other people really aren’t interacting with them So it really could all my in one’s mind! xP
I just think it is interesting, and I feel that I have seen them a few times, but I was young and I don’t know if they were actually just figments of an active imagination or reality :P

@rishav @Raith @hopingforbetter
Haha, thanks a lot guys. I know in the whole scheme of things it won’t mean a great deal but its nice to get some positive feedback from a top Uni :)

POmani - Woohoo Harvarddd! Youre gonna be a crimson bro :)

hopingforbetter - Well, You can transfer from IITs or LACs, but transfers are competitive (VERY) and from what I hear, FinAid is even worse for transfers. Some ivies give no fin aid to transfer students, some do. So, yeah that’s it.

@Pomani - think of it in this way… They didn’t say that they “hate” your poem!!
They said that they like it and they took the pains to tell you that. It should mean something, though not everything!! Haha!! :D

@Hoping - 3 of my seniors (in the 3 previous batches) got into the IITs, didn’t like it there. One transferred to Columbia, the other transferred to Oxford and recently, my immediate senior, transferred to Cambridge. Now assuming that Cambridge & the Ivies have similar admissions - you can safely assume that transferring from an IIT to the Ivies is possible.

Problem is that I won’t get into an IIT!! Haha!! :p

@rishav haha, it was actually a published book, so around 30 poems. But yeah, not taking it as a sign of admission or anything.
@hopingforbetter what do you mean by ‘file has gone further’? I’m very ignorant a to how the admissions process works :/

Duuuude, took so much work. Hate the cover though, it’s just a huge image of my face. I didn’t like it but the woman who was doing it for me said: ‘isn’t it wonderful? Look at the amazing job I’ve done’ and I’m thinking: ‘ITS HIDEOUS’ but I say: ‘oh wow, yeah it is, thanks so much’. Cheers for clearing that up :)

Which IITs did they get into?? Does it really matter from which IIT( just assume) I apply for tranfer? For example, do an IIT-B student have an edge over an IIT-H student when everything else is the same??
