Yes you are right!

Yes you are right!

@quiverfox You are from National Public School, Bangalore. Am I right? I got you, didn’t I?:p

@Po
You published a book? Wow, I am impressed and I think if Harvard made the effort to write you, it could actually be a good sign :)

Yeah I did, I’m pretty proud of it I was writing to the coach that told me anyway, so it wasn’t an impromptu update from an admissions officer :P

Hey guys!!

I hope you all are doing well. To the Indians, all the best on your exams!!

@PO That sounds great!! If harvard is your first choice, it sounds like you already have a shoe in … I feel like I know someone famous lol

And it’s March guys!! The month of decisions!! I hope you all aren’t as nervous as I am.

And I do keep up with the convo the thread, I just don’t post since I hardly have anything to say.

All the best guys!!

I’m pretty nervous. I had a second interview for Harvard today which reminded me that it’s not too long until decisions :o

Haven’t posted in a while, but it’s glad to know the thread is still alive and well :D

Btw, I like how you’ve all taken to calling me PO! Haha, call me Paddy if you want, the user names supposed to be a break from the usual ‘PaddyTheOmani’. :)

@lemming - Wait, did you have your 2nd interview which was for Harvard?? Or did Harvard interview you twice?? :O

@Paddy - PO sounds better :D

So… 26 days left!!

@rishav - I think its the former that lemming’s referring to.
Oh god, this countdown thingy’s making me real nervous :O

@lemming - Wait, did you have your 2nd interview which was for Harvard?? Or did Harvard interview you twice?? :O]/quote]
Harvard does interview some people twice. I don’t get the logic behind that!

You are IN if you get the second interview!!!

@PO/Paddy
Good work on the book That really has to be a plus for you for university (as well as your swimming).

@Lemming and Carib
Welcome back, you’ve been pretty quiet :P

I really can’t wait till the decisions are out!! I will feel so relieved - even if everyone else rejects me xP

@Blue - as quiver pointed out… Harvard sometimes does a 2nd interview, which is basically to make sure that the “shortlisted/selected” candidate is worthy of being a crimson!! Haha!!
If that’s the case both lemming & Po will be heading to Harvard next fall!! :D

@Raith - Agree with you. I don’t care anymore if I get rejected/accepted/waitlisted, I just want them to release the decisions ASAP!! Atleast if I get rejected, I can start preparing for the Indian entrance exams!! :p

Oh, how I have missed this… Yeah I got interviewed twice :o to whoever said I’m in,I highly doubt it… I like to see it as I’m definitely not out yet.

It was just bizarre because I was like ‘yay, I don’t have to think about college admissions for a bit’ and then BOOOOOM

@lemming - I think 10-15% of the applicants get a 2nd interview. Unless you blew it I’d say you have a VERY VERY good chance of getting in!! :D

Thanks :’)
Fingers crossed now… only 25 days, it’s like a twisted run up to Christmas…

^the perfect analogy

It’ll be a Tim Burton film soon enough…

Rishav - Oh sorry didnt know that.
And some of us dont even get a single interview. Im definitely out of the race. Not that i was hoping for it, but oh whatever :p

Ahaha, me too. I just want to know the decisions. Reject me if you want just let me know.
The suspense is killing me :O

I think the only reason people don’t get first interviews is if there isn’t any alums in the area to interview them… it has nothing to do with whether or not you get in… So there’s still hope :D
