Yeah wonder why I didn’t get a Dartmouth interview either. I fancy my chances at Dartmouth above the other Ivies because it doesn’t have a great engineering school, that I’ve applied to, but then again, no interview could be hurtful. But as @raith said, come March 28, I’d like to be pleasantly surprised! :D

@himanshu - Actually Dartmouth doesn’t sort applicants by major!! So that plan of getting into Dartmouth is redundant!! (I had thought of the same thing early on, then researched and Kaboom!! )

I’ve had 2 interviews - Penn & Pton. Both were okayish. Nothing went wrong, but nothing great about them either.

So who else here has applied to Northwestern?? I know Iboss has…

@rishav, thanks for that. But I’ll fancy my chances anyway! :P

Btw, I applied to Northwestern too, and I submitted the application well before the December 15th interview deadline, but didn’t have an interview. Did anyone else have a Northwestern interview?

I had seven interviews :o
Don’t think it meant much though… just because I live near a lot of northern UK cities :)

@lemming Hi5 I had 7 too! An an 8th virtual interview!
But you’re right, location matters (im in dubai), so I guess we had the upper hand there. What colleges have you applied to btw?

HYPDB out of the Ivys then Duke Carleton Williams Middlebury and Bard

@rishav

Congrats for the 1000th post.
I know you gave lot of information to
students. very good work.
Praying God you should get the top
one as a reward.
Good luck to you

Well by an interview, i meant a Dartmouth Interview! I live in Kolkata. So did anyone living in Kolkata get an interview from Dartmouth?

hey guys…btw…did you guys get any response from Stanford…AT ALL…I mean at least Dartmouth told me about my issue…Stanford’s just been …silent…anyone getting the creeps;)

Yeah I received a couple of emails from the Stanford Admissions office for action on my application. Decisions come out April 1st. Btw, I have prepared a list of the 24 colleges that I have applied to along with their decision notification dates. I’ll post it here in a while.

*you guys may find a lot of your colleges in that list, so it makes it easy to keep track.

thanks himanshusahay!
I’m pretty sure more than one college that I applied to will also be in your list of 24 college applications!

I’ve skipped the ones that have already been released. All these dates are as per what is given on the respective college’s website, not from a third party source.

@himanshu - The only NU alum interview contact is in Mumbai, India! I didn’t even know there was a Dec 15th interview deadline!!!

But I did get an e-mail from NU with the interview portal login ID/pin to set up an interview. Then I wrote back to NU asking if I can have a skype interview with the alum in Mumbai. They replied in the negative but did give me the regional admissions officer’s e-mail. So there’s that!!

And there’s actually a thread with MOST decision dates(UPDATED) on the college admissions forum(Pinned on the top of the forum). Your dates are a bit off!! :)

@krishna147 - Haha! Just hoping for the best.

Umm, can you point out which ones? I thought these are correct because I’ve checked them from the websites and the emails I received.

Man, I didn’t even get the portal login. And there must be tonnes of interviewers here. Missed out on that one. :/
