<p>My Grandpa (now deceased) attended Dartmouth way back in the day. Is this legacy and would it even help seeing as he is not a contributing alum?

<p>This does not make you a legacy. Dartmouth only considers children whose parents received their AB (undergrad degree) from the college. If your parents graduated from Tuck, Thayer or the Med school, you would not be considered a legacy.</p>
