Dartmouth - Likely Letters?

Would anyone like to post what the Dartmouth likely letter looks like... AKA if you're currently attending and are a freshman... and received one last year...
They typically come out in February and/or March, right?
I was just curious as to how they go about saying "you're in" without really saying "you're in"... LOL hope that makes some sense. I would appreciate any feedback - Thanks everyone.

Good luck to everyone applying this year. Let's hope for the best.

Likely letters come in late Feburary, early March (my daughter received hers in March)and are done on a rolling basis (so if some one should post that they got one and you have't heard anything, don't panic).
It says that they want to releive some of the stress of the admission process by informing you that you are very likely to be admitted in to the class of 2008 (in your case 09). I know that it is stil lin the house so I will post the letter later.

All the best

Dartmouth sent close to 500 of these last year. This is equivalent to nearly half the freshman class - though obviously not all recipients matriculated, so that a majority of those eventually admitted and enrolling didn't get one.

500?

crosses fingers

What kind of stats do people receiving likely letters have?

Wait... I didn't know that Dartmouth sent out likely letters! I am vaguely familiar with what they are, but can someone please explain them to me?

how many of these people who receive likely letters, actually get in? 100%? 98%?

Here is some information on likely letters:

Thanks! I probably won't be getting one, but it's nice knowing there's the possibility!
