I GOT IN! International and FGLI student. I got a full ride. Also, I received an FA email telling me my application was incomplete 10 days before decisions were out. So, future applicants, you’d better take that as a good sign! Here I come Hanover!!!

Those are pretty darn good safeties. Very impressive . Good luck!!

Hang in there. Best with next steps.

Not a fit. And that is it. So many questions cannot be answered, yet VERY THANKFUL for what lies ahead. Good luck to everyone.

My kid was rejected from most of their schools. They got into 2 safeties with straight As and an SAT 1500 (790 and 780 subject tests). Don’t let this define you. This process is awful and not reflective of who are as a student. There are so many things out of your control–$$$, legacies, connections. Go be AMAZING at one of the schools that wanted you. Let this fuel your fire.

Hey all, I was accepted and I am SO ecstatic. Unfortunately, my financial aid package is very poor, and I do not believe I will be able to attend as is, especially because I have a full ride at another school (I prefer Dartmouth greatly over said school). Is there any way for me to show this to Dartmouth and work with the financial aid office, or will I be unsuccessful? Thanks to anyone who can help. It means a lot.

Depends on what “said achool” is and that their offer was strictly based on need. They will not match merit and will likely not review need unless from a peer college.

It is a full-ride scholarship to any school in my state, so I suppose Dartmouth will unfortunately not consider this.

Got rejected from Dartmouth. Thinking of going to McGill. Does McGill, Desautels, have a good reputation in the US? I’m not from North America, hence the question.
