Please help me :)

you have a fair shot at either. it's not that one is easier to get into (MAYBE dartmouth since a lot of the harvard/princeton kids apply to yale EA)

they're VERY, VERY different schools, so i suggest doing some research to find out which fits you. but really, you have a good shot a both of them, so good luck choosing!

I think you have a great chance at both schools.

Yeah its a hard call. I might SCEA Yale and do Dartmouth RD, the biggest risk is that you miss the chance at Dartmouth ED.

Have you visited them? If so, which did you like better? Ultimately, that's the deciding factor. From your scores and numbers, I think you have a very good shot at both schools.

It's up to you.

Your 3.59 unweighted is pretty low for both schools.

Okay, I don't really know why people are saying that you have a "great" or even above average chance. People on CC tend to play up URM status due to all of the ANECDOTAL "evidence" around here. URM/AA doesn't make or break an application. It only makes an already spectacular student even better.

A 3.6 UW GPA is low for ivys. You've taken every SAT II and AP in Spanish possible, and since it is very likely that it's your native language, it's not very impressive. I'm not very familiar with the ACT, but I'm pretty sure a 33 is the equivalent of around 2200 on the SAT, which again, is relatively average. The ECs are also pretty normal.

You have a better shot at Dartmouth than Yale, that's for sure, but I'd say you have a VERY average chance at both schools.

^33/2200 is relatively average? i'm sorry, what? that's in the 99th percentile fyi.

anyway, colleges love scholar/athletes. the op is obviously a good scholar and an athlete. and the urm status is definitely in her favor.

I think they mean 33/2200 is relatively average for someone looking at Ivy.

thank u for the replies :) i think right now all points toward the big green,

Better shot at D, I say. Just one more opinion :)
