<p>If the site of the college says that they will notify acceptance in mid-December, does that mean that an Early decision applicant in July would have to wait THAT long for if they got in or not? ZOMG</p>
<p>Can you apply in July? Is the application up yet? Most schools don't release their applications until September or so. But yes, the deadline is usually November 1st and you are notified mid-December.</p>
<p>For UF, they already placed their applications online. Someone from my class already turned it in as well, along with the fees and everything.</p>
<p>Then yes, if it is not rolling, you will have to wait until December for an answer. Applying very early like that is only helpful at rolling schools. Otherwise, they wait until the deadline has passed and begin to make choices about whom to admit.</p>

<p>The UF website indicates that notification for ED I is in early December, with an applications deadline of Oct. 2. But what's the rush? Take your time and make sure that you're submitting a complete application. Give some thought to writing a good essay.</p>
