anyone know the exact date when freshman semester will begins?

I think it's a bit different each year. They will probably let you know once the admissions craze is over.

The orientation at Carnegie Mellon is a WHOLE week and it is the most enjoyable experience you've ever had in your life if you make the most of it. Example? I got laid (lost virignity), partied every night, and drank more than I ever did in that week at orientation.

would orientation be right before school starts or before i graduate from high school?

Oh no. Orientation is letting you get used to where everything is and how the school works.

It is a week EXACTLY before your first college class so it is definitely before school starts and way after HS ends and your summer ends.

Enjoy it while you can because march, april, may, june, july, and august will be the best days of your life as far as freedom and no responsibilities go.

dont you also have to take placement exams during orientation as well?

Just for calc and that is during the summer (even before school ends I think). Remember to do what you feel like your level is. The worst thing to do is to cheat and get put into 3d calc or something and fail your first semester.

These tests are online so its easy to cheat and I think you can even pause them to take later.

tmi. tmi. tmi.
