What/when is orientation and what REALLY goes on?? (The description on CMU's website sounded delightfully cheesy.)

I second this question... What really goes on during orientation?

I'd like to tack on this:

I know it begins the 20th of August (exactly 4 months from today), but what day should I plan to arrive? Will I want to move in before this?

Thanks

the welcome packet says that the dorms are opening on the 19th at 9 am for American students and 16th or 17th for international students.

I lost my virginity, got drunk a lot, and some other stuff I can't remember.

It's all up to you...Playfair kinda sucked since they kept building us up for it (omg it is so fun!).

The real fun was in House Wars since we have the best floor and all the **** that happens at night like frat parties, etc.

It is a whole week of fun...

Way to open with a bang! (pun intended)

That sounds like a lot to look forward to.

damn i can't wait 'til orientation

Remember to be outgoing and make friends with all the activities and then go out with those friends at night to all the frat parties. If you can't get alcohol then go anyways, it'll be a lot of fun.

Oh and don't be shy and just approach girls or take ones you met during the morning/afternoon to the dance floor.

hahaha you lost your virginity at orientation.. thats the best one ive heard so far!

Don't worry I'll get it back someday.

lol..........

That's really cool.

has anyone read Fierce Invalisd From Hot Climates by Tom Robbins? yeah.

and also: were you of the female orientation, I'm decidedly sure there is a surgery for that.

hahahahahaha now I'm really excited for this week of fun

hymenoplasty :)
