Dating a younger man.

Hugh Hefner's DEFINITELY breaking the rule in his case, haha.

am I the only person who isn't doing math problems when considering a person for a relationship?

dating a college guy = cool
dating a underclassmen = lame.

That is all.

Well, the rule isn't working the other way around though:
Say, your a 16 year old girl, does that mean you can only date 18-year olds and younger?
I think 16 and, say, 19 is pretty normal!

Very funny rule though!

and to the OP: If you're completely comfortable with it, whats the problem? I think its oke, as long as you don't feel awkward about it; that would ruin the relation!

It's not that weird, but don't mistake intelligence for maturity And do expect some funny looks, because while the 10th grader will be getting kudos from his friends, you won't be.

But that's not a terribly weird combination. A freshman and a senior...that's weird.

4 years old: (4/2 + 7). Youngest possible: age 9.

Oh$&*@.

(Sorry, I ruined a couple people's day here...especially on this website.)

^lolniceyou.

^^That's nothing, voyeur! More like 2 years old: (2/2 + 7). Youngest possible: age 8. Uhhh.

Lol, the rule begins to apply only when you reach an acceptable dating age...

^Um, you say that as though 2 years old isn't an acceptable age!?!

Hahaha, take about age discrimination ;p

Haha, well I'm a senior dating a freshman right now (I'm pretty young for a senior, but still...) and people made fun of me for a couple of weeks, but they got over it and actually think we're really good together. As long as he's reasonably mature, age shouldn't matter that much (though it helps if he's taller than you)

Haha he's actually slightly shorter than me. A lot of guys are (i'm 5'9") :(
But i'm glad thats working out for you! Thats for the "hope" :)

divide your age by 2 and add 7 ... that's the lowest

Also works in reverse -- to find the oldest you can go, subtract seven and multiply by two. For those of you who are math-challenged...

But the oldest possible for a 4 year old is -6, so nobody is eligible to date a 4 year old.

You'd have to be 14 for anyone to be both young enough and old enough. Not bad.
