I'm applying to boarding schools in the New England area, and I live in VA. I currently have a boyfriend whom I love very much and he loves me back. If I go to boarding school, would a long distance relationship last? Umm well we've been together for about 5 months now, and we've liked each other for 2 years though. We're very close and I wouldn't want to lose him for anything.

For my interview, I have 3 interviews soon at A/E/HK, what should I wear?

I think if you guys really love each other like you say, the distance won’t matter at all.
My friend’s mother was sent to a BS because she was in love with a boy. Guess what?
Now they are married and have kids and my friend is of them.

If you’re serious about attending a NE BS, just focus on your applications at this point. It really is a lot of work. As far as the relationship, who knows where it will be 10 months from now? Cross that bridge if/when it becomes relevant.

I just went to the 20th anniversary party for friends who have been married 20 years. They started dating in high school, then he went to school in New England and she stayed on the West Coast. They dated the whole time, but also dated other people while they were apart. They said if they had not had that time apart, they would never have been able to stay together.
You have to make the right choice for you. Then figure out how to stay in touch with the guy. If it’s right, it will last.
