Just curious, hows the dating scene at UNC and does the 2:3 guy:girl ratio work in favor for guys? Anyone have a take on this?

no cause there is a 4:1 ugly:hot ratio

^^^haha..really good reply...
but that 1:4 ratio applies to all universities..
so yes 2:3 ratio of guy to girls will help ;)

Well, best-selling author Tucker Max ('I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell') recently spoke at Duke, his law school alma mater, and was asked about the dating scene on the Duke campus.

He immediately responded and said that he discovered Franklin St. and UNC girls a few days after arriving in Durham from UChicago and never, never looked back.

God i cannot imagine hitting on duke girls. honestly theres a lot of hot girls but i wouldnt say its easy..but then again you do see guys at parties, who you would think can do much better, picking up girls that are ugly. but i guess thats how the system work. i personally cant do that.

and as for dating, you'll have to put in time (and money) in every situation.

nah, dont date in your freshman year in college. Learn the ropes first...

i went on a lot more dates last year than i did in all of high school..there are just so many more people that it's nice to play the field a little bit! after that i did end up meeting my boyfriend in my french class, though, and we've been together for 8 months or so :)

Comment romantique !

I, as a female, found myself frustrated at first since most guys were interested in merely hooking up. As the year went on I went on a few dates and eventually got a boyfriend, but we broke up. As for my dating future, I'm not too worried. Just enjoy it!

I am not a jerk, but you gotta understand that some guys are like that. They are not looking for long term relationships and the parties are the reason behind it.

Oh I know, I've played that game too...it's just annoying when you're actually interested in a relationship, which I was at that time.

you see, that's that hard part: Figuring out if the girl wants to hook up or wants a relationship. ;)

haha i wouldn't recommend trying to date from day 1. just find some friends to hang with first. there's definitely a lot of good looking women though, especially in the gen ed classes, so don't worry about that.
