so....how do you guys feel about this? i personally think its okay for guys to go for younger girls. but visa versa its weird..

Ya, I kind of feel the same way.
Just like a girl is taller than the guy she is dating.

Come on, older women are hot.

I'm 15 and I've never dated an older, I guess it just isn't the norm but I'm not really sure. I'd personally prefer younger, but hm, I guess it isn't impossible.

yeah, but I've seen this a couple times. I'm 5'11, only fairly short (from my perspective before everyone jumps in) so I don't run into this problem often though. I only know like 30 girls tops at my school taller than I am.

^invoyable: 15 years old and 5'11", thats some crazy growth.

lol, im older then my gf but shes taller then me, i really dont mind it though cuz if i like the persn then nothing else matters.

I've never understood why girls feel like it'd be a cardinal sin to date a guy who's either younger or shorter than them. WHY does it matter which gender is older or taller? What ever happened to equality? This just seems like a form of male superiority that females readily buy into.

It's less common but not necessarily weird. I think it just usually works out with an older guy because of the maturity issue. I'm a fifteen-year-old girl and dated a seventeen-year-old guy this summer, but I've had friends go the opposite.

Yea, it's not that weird, like said earlier, it depends more on personality. As long you are happier with the person, age and height shouldn't matter. Also, 5' 11" for 15 is crazy growth? I'm 5' 10" at 15, lol

Like I said, I'm not against girls dating younger/shorter, but it's the tradition and preference that comes with it...it's good to know more people are open here.

LOL no, 5'11 at 15 is probably the average for high schoolers nowadays, even taking adults from 24~39 average was like 5'10.2...

Most of my friends are 6'1+, and I have a couple ones in the 6'5~6'7 range at 15. That's some crazy growth.

It depends on everyone, but males have the potential to grow definitely to 18 and possibly on, so eh, I'm not too worried about my height.

and I go to a couple athletic/sports forums/boards where everyone's like 6'5, so maybe that's why. How tall are you, JTeH btw? and age.

yea it would be awkward if i dated a guy younger than me..eww.

Haha, I've never really thought the age thing was that big of a deal - maaaaybe if the guy is like 5 years younger than you, lololol. Hm, yeah though, I most likely wouldn't date anyone shorter than me. But age really just depends on the person. [edit - lol, and it IS only a coincidence that I've never dated anyone who wasn't 2-11 years older than I am...]

Like you'll ever have that problem in your life...coughcough 5'2

coughcough 5'3" thank you very much. :] lol

Well, for me, a guy that's shorter than me, like INV, is rare, standing at 5'3", and dating a younger guy would be wierd, but not necessarily bad, just different.

I would highly recommend editing the bold text.

Oh, I meant Inveniamviam :)

I know...which is why you should change it.

I thought INV is a she...

Uhg.

She is. Your sentence is suggesting that she is a guy.
