Less than a week to go!

When will decisions be released?

March 22nd at 10am

Awesome! These next two weeks are going to kill me

@SummerAus where did you find that information?

@jrmama496 it is posted on Davidson’s website, under the admission section.

Fingers and all other body parts crossed!

getting nervous. Decisions come out 1am my time and I can’t decide whether to stay up and wait or not

Haha, I have the same dilemma with some of my universities too, @SummerAus! But I usually just go to sleep, there is no point staying up late. It’s more exciting to wake up in the morning and check the decision first thing in the morning :)

That is what is nice about a 10 AM Saturday time.

Waitlisted. 2300 SAT 4.0 UWGPA 770 760 760 SAT2 wonderful rec letter. average EC. good essay. Congrats to all who got in!

Waitlisted as well. How many do you think will get selected from the waitlist??

Waitlisted with a 2310 SAT and 4.46 GPA. I don’t think I will accept the spot.

My S got in. No financial aid information until early April.

Rejected with a 2180 SAT, 32 ACT, and 3.7 GPA. My stats are lower but I got multiple letters from the director of the orchestra at Davidson (I submitted an arts supplement, I’m a clarinet player) stating that she wanted me to play with her next year so I thought that would help me out. Oh well, I’m not too devastated because I got into my other top choice (which was pretty much tied with Davidson), so I guess it wasn’t meant to be!!

@jrmama, where did you see the information regarding financial aid? My s got in too but we have not received a financial aid offer.

Waitlisted as well, 2250 SAT, 4.0 GPA.

Rejected
33 ACT
4.0 GPA

Admitted!
32 ACT
4.0 GPA

Does anyone know when merit scholarship recipients are notified?

After being deferred ED, S was waitlisted today. ACT 31, 3.7UW GPA, 4.1 WGPA. A little digging showed that last year, about 900 were put on the wait list, 400 or so accepted the wait list spot, and 14 were eventually offered admission.
