Davis got me fallin' in love again... Chances please! :)

I’m a california resident from the bay area and I’d like to know my chances for Davis please! :)

UC GPA: 3.52
SAT: 2070 (CR-680, M-680, W-710) retaking this November
SAT II: Bio-730, will be taking Math Level 2 this October

APs/Honors:

Sophomore Year:
Chemistry Honors (school doesn’t offer APs during freshman/soph year)

Junior Year:
APUSH - 4
AP Bio - 4

Senior Year (currently taking):
AP English 4
AP Calc AB
AP Economics

Community Service/ECs:

About 900 hours of tutoring students after school everyday for free (Soph, Junior, and Senior year)

Developed and currently maintaining/running a website for a registered computer corporation here in the bay area (I’m the webmaster)

Developed and designed a retail software installer program for the same computer corporation this summer.

Varsity Track and Field (Junior Year)

Piano for 9 years

Violin for 2 years

I will be writing my personal statement about a life changing experience that I had over the summer last year and how that has changed my mindset about poverty in the world and how I want to help homeless people in third world countries when I grow up.

What do you guys think? Match? Reach? Lol I know… My GPA’s the biggest thing holding me down. Thanks for your posts! :)

Oh and I forgot to add these honors classes that I took/am taking:

Junior Year:
American Literature Honors

Senior Year:
Spanish 4 Honors

Darn it, forgot one more:

Senior year:
Physics honors.

you should get in ok, but do try to boost up your GPA over your senior year. it’s probably a target school

For your personal statement, your life changing experience should be unique because I’m sure “helping the impoverished/needy” may be a bit overdone. Although, everything else looks good. Good luck!
