Hello guys. First, congrats to those people got into their dream schools this year. I'm about to transfer next fall which means I am gonna apply this Fall as a Statistic major. I will take summer school right after the spring quarter. I am thinking that should I take Ewrt2 during summer? or take it later fall. Becauze I must take math 1B during summer which is a pretty hard course. I have done math 1A and 10 this quarter (little bit late, cuz i just decided my major this quarter) and i think i will be able to finish them with A. Right now my GPA is like 3.84(B+in art). I never heard people transfer as a Statistic major. It this a good major transfer to UCB and UCLA( dream school). What are my chances are to get into these two school. I'm not sure if i can get A in my Ewrt 1A this quarter, cuz English is my weak point. Does anyone have any ideas that i can improve my Essay? Finally, i want to know my chances and GPA that i need to get into Cal and LA. Thank you guys.

To transfer to Berkeley as a Statistics major, you need to take De Anza / Foothill Math through 1D, 2A, and 2B. Taking a lower division Statistics course is not required, although you may want to take De Anza Math 23 (Engineering Statistics). See:
