Deadline - 2nd Jan or 11th Jan?

<p>Which is right?</p>

<p>Neither. UVA changed it from Jan. 2 to Jan. 3 in order to be fair to people applying with the paper application. Jan. 2 falls on a Sunday.</p>

<p>Jan 3rd for application and Jan 11th for supplemental forms/transcript. I actually emailed admissions about this and they clarified it for me. The Jan 11th date is to give counselors time to get everything sent after the break.</p>

<p>what about the teacher rec. can that be sent anytime before the 11th??....please respond i just freaked out cuz i'd assumed uva doesn't want a teacher rec. but i just saw that they "encourage" you to send one..!!...</p>

<p>its online... just tell u teacher that u want them to write it.. so u can technically send it on the duedate itself.</p>

<p>where does it say that the deadline is January 3? I thought it was due today. (I'm doing the online application by the way)</p>

<p>They sent an e-mail out, saying that because January 2nd falls on a Sunday, the deadline has been extended to January 3rd when the Post Offices will be open. Out of fairness, the deadline for the online application has been changed as well.</p>

<p>oh, i didn't get that email, but i'm gonna trust you on this one and submit my application tomorrow then. I still have the two short essays to write and don't feel like stressing about it in the next four hours.</p>

<p>Well, I'm spending a good amount of time on them too. I just meant they were shorter because they're 250 words, not 500 words. I'm glad that I can finish them tomorrow because I want to spend some more time on them than the four hours that I had left when I wrote that.</p>

<p>sup again, now that the deadline for the application has been postponed til jan.24, did the deadline for recommendations change, too? if so, to what?</p>
