Essays

I don't have a problem with writing essays. It's probably my biggest strength. My English teacher looked over them for me and said that I answered the questions very well and wrote it in an interesting way so I don't think my essays will harm me.

I appreciate any input!

your GPA and EC’s look amazing, and your test scores are on target for NYU, but I think they might be a bit low for UChigago and UVA… but your GPA and ec’s might help mitigate the low test scores. chance me??

Probably not Chicago but NYU and UVA look possible.

Bump 10char

Update: Got accepted to NYU today! So now this post only relates to UChicago and UVA.

Bump again.

Bumpppppppppp

UVA i would say yes, UChicago kind of unlikely

Bump again

In-state for UVA? If not, your scores are too low. If you live in Virginia, you stand a strong chance.

OOS unfortunately, but thanks for the honesty as well as to the other people who have commented on this. Other speculations would be appreciated though.

where do you live? I also applied to NYU with a 30 act, but haven’t received my decision yet.

I live in Tennessee, and they sent me an email on Monday morning telling me that I got admitted early.
