<p>I live in California and last night when i submitted my app for College of William and Mary at 11:00 PM Pacific Time, commonapp showed my submission date as 1/2. However, I still got an email confirming that my application has been successfully submitted. </p>
<p>Does that mean that 12:00 PM Pacific Time is the deadline for all schools regardless of school location? (College of Will and mary is on the E. coast)</p>
<p>******So my question is...do I need to turn in Rice and Chicago U by 9:00 PM (Pacific) to match 12:00 AM (Eastern)?</p>
<p>i've heard that you should send it in according to eastern time regardless of where the school is located. some schools will allow you to send it in according to their time zone, but since you said that the commonapp recorded it as 1/2 when you sent it in 1/1 , i would make sure to send it in by 9pm pacific</p>
<p>The common app goes by the eastern time zone. It is up to each school whether the deadline should go by the time zone the school is located in. In most cases schools are okay as long it was submitted before the deadline in your particular timezone.</p>

<p>I sent my scores to JHU but the collegeboard website says it is pending right now - I thought I rush reported, but am not sure - Am i dead? because i'm soo about to freak!!!!!</p>
<p>And collegeboard is closed for the weekend and so is JHU!!!!! - they dont have my scores!!! - I'm going to cry because my i put so much effort into finishing the app</p>
<p>FYI I think I sent the scores on Dec. 30 - Not sure they were rush reported</p>
<p>Listen, think about this. If you are this concerned about the deadline, then you should weigh your options. If you REALLY wanted to get into a University, you would have gotten it done well before the deadline. If you are cramming in the application minutes before the deadline, think about how much you actually care about this university as a place to spend the next 2/4/8 years of your life.</p>
<p>I'm in the same boat meow, submitted it at 11:02 central and it said 1/3/09. I pretty much had a heart attack, but I agree shame on me for procrastinating... :|</p>
