Deadline?

I was wondering, is there a deadline for accepting/declining your eFAN offers?

no there isn’t, but you have to accept them if you want anything at all. contact fao if you want a new efan.

Thank you for your reply. Is it likely for someone to get a new eFan?

I got a new efan after I called about there being something wrong with my old one

I requested a new one online. It took a couple days but I didn’t have to talk to anyone.

i requested a new one, and i got one the next day.

If we already sent in the promissory note for the discover loan and wish to change the eFAN for the perkins loan, is it still possible? I removed the unsubsidized ones without altering the perkins to make up for the 2000 dollars lost from the unsubsidized, and I’m worried I might not get enough money since I’m in a plaza, which is around 2000 dollars more expensive than residential halls.

To piinkpriinc3ss, sid3000, and oyster, if it isn’t too personal, what changed with your eFan, and did you have to give any reason for a change?

well for me, i was missing 2,000 bucks…they did not offer me anything to cover those 2,000…and since i have regents, they sort of had to give me the 2000. so they adjusted my scholarships and gave me an extra 2000…and they gave me a new efan.

I had my dad go through it since I had no clue about loans. Turns out he didn’t even click on any of the requests - everything was “undecided” and he submitted it, lol. So I just got another one, and did it myself. It’s really stupid how they make you do debt management AFTER accepting loans through efan. Now that I know what the hell Im doing, I might request yet another one so I can make sure I don’t have too much in loans.

How do you request another one? If you do so, will it remove all the loans and junk from the “old” eFAN that you submitted? Also, what if you already sent in promissory notes to them? What happens then? Does that have to be redone, for the lenders?

With all these confusing “what if” queries regarding finaid, you really ought to just call the office and ask the experts yourself. They are quite nice
