<p>Hi there--here's a question about the University of Chicago and MIT apps especially, if anyone's willing to help: are applications due the second it hits the first (in 5 hours or so), or at the end of Jan 1 (11:59PM)?

As I’ve been told earlier today, MIT is due 11:59 on January 1st, so you have more than a day (a day and a little over an hour, since the deadline is in Eastern Time).
I can only assume that the same applies to U of C</p>
