According to the student handbook, my D made the cut-off for the Dean's List last semester. However, when she recently requested a copy of her transcript for the continuation of a scholarship, there was no mention of this on the copy she received, nor did she receive any notice from the school. Is this something that takes a while to note, or was it an oversight? Also, one of the IB grades for which she received credit was listed as a 6 instead of a 7 - is it worth having this corrected?

it normally takes a little bit of time for the registrar’s offices to determine and then note dean’s list honors. This is namely because they have a lot of other stuff to do and dean’s list notation is at the lower end of the priority list.

As far as the IB list, unless it makes a difference in terms of placement or credit, I wouldn’t worry about it. However, if it makes you feel better to have a 7 instead of a 6 on the transcript then go ahead.
