I looked on the Cornell website for the requirements of making the dean's list in ILR and even though I fulfilled those requirements both semesters this past school year, I still didn't receive a letter acknowledging that I had done so. As a result, I was wondering if there is a place, such as on JTF, where I could see notification that I made the dean's list. Or is it the case the ILR doesn't mail letters home for the dean's list?

Your trancript will show whether you made dean’s list, so at the very least, you can just order your transcript to check whether you made it.

As for the certificate, I know that Engineering doesn’t mail out certificates and only provides them upon request (from the Engineering registrar’s office). Perhaps ILR has the same policy.

I got a certificate saying I made ILR deans list in the mail from and I did not request it or anything, but yeah, request a transcript on JTF (free) and see if it is notated on it.

Hmm interesting. Well I requested the transcript to be mailed. I wonder if the fact that I was in ITD for the second semester had anything to do with it. I checked and I made the dean’s list for both ILR and A+S (the one I am transferring into). But then again, my first semester should not be affected and I never received any confirmation of making the dean’s list. Oh well, I was just curious. Thanks a lot guys.

Just a quick addition: Ya I recieved one every semester from ILR so I don’t know why they wouldn’t send it to you. Maybe they have a different address for you
