Does UF send out letters for Dean's List? If so, have they gone out for Fall semester yet?

Was wondering that too? D got straight A’s, so I assume that’s enough for Dean’s list … although, I hear that each dept has different rules on how many hours you need, right? Hmmm … gonna scope that out. She only took 14 hours her first semester to get her toes wet … so that might not be enough for her dept.

Found this link tzais01 … doesn’t answer everything. Noticed D’s not eligible for President’s list as she only had 14 hours and you need 15, and I mispoke … she got an A-in Calc3, too. But that’s okay … still a rockin’ first semester. :)

That is excellent. Boy your D must be in the only major that requires 15 hours for Dean’s List - Health and Human Performance?

I think D is eligible, 13 hours and a 3.85. For Business majors that should qualify per the website.

Nah, she only needs 14 hours for dean’s list in engineering. But you need 15 for President’s list (well, that and a 4.0 … she had a 3.93 or something like that). Still, I’m not complaining. LOL And congrats to your d, too! :)

So we never really got an answer on this. Do they send letters and if so, has anyone gotten theirs for Fall yet?

I should qualify for both Dean’s/President’s Honor Roll but haven’t received anything in the mail yet. I emailed my adviser and they haven’t replied yet, either. Something will probably come soon.

If Dean’s List is a 3.7, would a 3.69 round up and qualify?

They only mail out the certificates if you recieve President’s List, otherwise you generally get them from your advisor.

I generally let mine build up, then pick them up all at once. I should have 4 waiting for me. They’re generally meaningless certificates.

3.69 should not qualify, since they count to 2 decimals.
