can a decal be used to satisfy one of the 7-breadth requriements? Is decal eaiser than most lecture courses?

Interesting question. Does it say anything on the L and S advising page?

it wasn't on there, i dont think. That is why I posted.

No, a Decal cannot fulfill a breadth. Decals are student-initiated courses, and they are worth (1) unit value and (2) your enjoyment. They are all (I believe) Pass/NoPass. I am planning to run a Decal for Spring Semester 2006, and if you just show up to class and say hello I will, essentially, pass you. (Requirements for Decals include a three-page paper assignment to fulfill university writing requirements in a college course, and anything else that's up to the discretion of the student-teacher.) No one wants to be the jerk who doesn't pass a student participating in a Decal.

Happy scheduling,

can frosh/soph seminars satisfy breadths?

don't think so.

Disagree. If it's 2 units, it sure can. most say so on the page. For instance, look at the rhetoric one, the history seminars, or the classics one.
