December 15

I really hope I get my letter Saturday but MA weather is kind of ridiculous, so part of me is skeptical.

i was pretty confident that i would be accepted early on, but now that its closing in on those final hours, im so nervous. i know i have good stats, but so does everyone else, and so many more people applied, and my major is so popular, and i dont have extremely great ECs and stuff...god it makes me so nervous. but i really hope that its true about focusing mainly on the numbers for EA, cuz my hard numbers kick. i dont know...anyone else know what im talking about?

I'm in MA too, that snowstorm was horrible yesterday. I had to walk home in like a foot of snow

I'm getting that last minute pessimism too. I used to be optimistic, then I'd be optimistic/pessimistic depending on the day, and now all I can think about is my impending deferral. hopefully i'm wrong but it just goes to show you how up in the air it all is.

IamGhandi, do you think MA people will get the letters on time? I thought maybe the snow delayed things.

lol my friend and I, who were going 5 mph on the way to my house during the massive snowstorm, slowly slid off the road into a ditch at one point. It was great haha. Probably the one time I was thankful for being from a small town, as absolutely everyone stopped and tried to help. I really hope the snowstorm doesn't affect the mail though, I'm freaking out as it is.

doesn't the postal service have some slogan.... neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow

good luck all!

That's what I think. I heard someone in Maine got theirs though, so there's hope :)

This thread needs a new name :) Something along the lines of "December whenever Georgetown gets around to it"

agreed....

It looks like Georgetown really messed up their timing this year, since they usually do have them all out on time. My year (3 years ago), they must have sent them out on the 11th or 12th, so a decent number of people had them by the 13th, and almost everyone had them by the 15th.

But hopefully they will come Monday for you guys...good luck!

I'm in central MA, and I didn't get my letter either this weekend (the mail never even came on Saturday because of the storm!).

I called the admissions office this morning - it would probably be easier for you to do the same.

I called in..deferred :(

Anyone on the West Coast got theirs yet?

i'm home for lunch and can see the mail man walking around my street but i have to be back at school in like 2 minutes..... grrrrrr

IamGandhi2k7 I got deferred too. I think we were both NHS too. :(

Pretty bummed.

my letter was definitely postmarked 12/15...... a little late

Im in Orange County, got my letter today along with a nice christmas card.

I'm in Palos Verdes (Southern California) . I love the christmas card

I live less than 2 hours from DC and still no letter, but they did call me so I know.
